Intellect UK And Really Simple Systems Launch SaaS Educational Paper

White Paper, "The business case for Software as a Service" is launched to educate UK senior management in the benefits of Software as a Service (SaaS)

29-Oct-2009

Intellect UK, the trade body representing the UK IT industry, and Really Simple Systems, the largest UK vendor of hosted CRM systems, have today made available an educational paper designed to promote Software as a Service (SaaS) products to senior managers and directors of UK companies.

The paper, "The business case for Software as a Service", lays out the technical and cost benefits of SaaS, together with checklists covering selection criteria, legal considerations and comparisons of SaaS applications to traditional in-house systems. David Terrar, the Chairman of Intellect's SaaS group, said "Software as a Service has come of age and business managers in the UK need to be aware of the benefits that SaaS can bring to their organisations."

Written by many of the leading lights in the UK's SaaS community - including David Terrar of D2C, John Paterson of Really Simple Systems, Hamish Edwards of Xero, Julian Heathcote Hobbins of FAST and consultant Dr Richard Sykes - the paper will help key decision makers navigate the hype that currently surrounds SaaS and determine whether it is right for their business.

The paper is available to download from www.reallysimplesystems.com.au/IntellectSaaSReport.asp and www.intellectuk.org/content/view/5534/84/ now.
