Really Simple Systems, the UK’s largest hosted CRM vendor, today announces the general availability of its Really Simple MailSync module. Really Simple MailSync allows users to automatically capture emails into the CRM system without the need to install any local software.
Really Simple MailSync captures incoming and outgoing emails directly from the customer’s mail server and automatically allocates them to the correct account in the CRM system. By ensuring that emails are available in a hosted CRM application users have instant access to the most up-to-date correspondence. Users are free to use any, or even multiple, e-mail clients to manage e-mail. The system works with Outlook and Notes on PCs, Eudora and Entourage on Macs, and also Blackberries and webmail such as Hotmail and Google Mail.
John Paterson, CEO, Really Simple Systems, comments, "Traditionally CRM vendors have taken one of two paths for email integration - either they have a built-in email client, or they have an add-in to Microsoft Outlook. We didn’t want to force people to move away from a preferred email client, and we wanted to ensure that those who don’t use Outlook are not left behind. We also believe that having local software erodes the benefits of a hosted solution." Paterson concludes, "Really Simple MailSync is a unique solution in that it allows users to use any email client without installing local software."
