Really Simple Systems announces integration with Google CalendarFirst hosted application to link to Google's new offering25th April 2006 Really Simple Systems, the UK based hosted CRM service designed to be simple to use and to run, today announced an industry first, built in support for Google's new web based Calendar product, available as from today. Really Simple Systems is the first hosted product to offer this link and now all users will be able to automatically add tasks and appointments to their Google calendar with a click of a mouse, directly from Really Simple Systems. "This new release allows users to share their calendars with any other Google Calendar user, not just those of our subscribers." said Really Simple Systems' CEO John Paterson, "Small companies want to share calendars over the web but don't want the complexity doing that with Microsoft Outlook." Nick Hewson, managing director of Hewson Group commented "This is a very interesting example of how Software as a Service is developing. Many smaller companies don't have, or can't afford, the sort of infrastructure that allows the functionality they need. Really Simple Systems have demonstrated with its link to Google's calendar that a low cost alternative is viable" The link between Really Simple Systems and Google Calendar uses industry standard iCal technology. The company will be broadening the interface to link to other iCal based web calendars such as Mozilla FireFox and Apple's iCalendar at a later date. About Really Simple Systems About Hewson Group
