Really Simple Systems provides hosted CRM to small and medium sized organisations who want sales and marketing systems that are easy to use and work immediately. The systems have been designed from the ground up to be easy and fast to use, both for everyday users and for managers. By delivering the system as a hosted application over the web the burden of IT support is removed from the customer, and by using one common database instead of multiple replicated databases distributing the applications to multiple offices and remote users needs no additional local software.

John has used, implemented and overseen more CRM systems than he would care to admit to as a salesperson, sales manager, sales director, COO and CEO. As CEO of CRM vendor Oxygen Solutions it was reinforced that the key to successful CRM implementation was very little to do with technology but all to do with getting the users to use it the system properly, and the key to getting people to use it properly was to make it as easy-to-use and as fast as possible. It was off the back of these experiences that he saw the gap in the market for a simple, straightforward hosted CRM system that was aimed specifically at small and medium sized organisations.

Previous companies that John has run include Systems Union Group (mid-market ERP), Oxygen Solutions (CRM) and Zeus Technology (Internet infrastructure).

 

Simon HubbardSimon Hubbard, Managing Director, Australia

Simon has been in the IT industry for more than 20 years and in that time has worked in a variety of roles including services and support, product marketing, account management and sales. Having used CRM systems he knows that any CRM system needs to be fast and simple to use otherwise at best it will have minimal information and at worst it will not be used at all! His background also gives him a better understanding of what different departments need from a CRM solution and how these need to interact to provide value to the business.

Prior to this role Simon was with Systems Union and was responsible for the sale and implementation of Back Office solutions for hotels across Asia Pacific.

In his spare time Simon enjoys cycling and taking part in triathlons. One day he hopes to finish the swim leg in front of at least one other person!!
